First of all, this is a fun place to visit. It is bright and airy and full of fascinating objects. As you would expect, the jewelry is first class and often unique with the likes of John Hardy and Charles Krypell. Watches, collector pens and fascinating knives however compete with the jewelry for your attention. And then there is the staff. They are friendly and engaging as you would expect in a store of this caliber. What amazes me however is the depth of their knowledge about all things gemological. Sure, they know all about the stones, settings and so forth. But ask them about the myth of the Balinese dragon. I would bet that your average more jewelry store associate would not know the answer to that one. This place is not your father’s jewelry store.
